Junior Electrical Engineer
NDI Engineering Company is seeking an individual to support Submarine Communications Systems including Multifunction Mast Antennas and Radio Frequency Digital Acquisition Control System (RFDACS). They will also support testing efforts for the Common Submarine Radio System (CSRR).
Job Responsibilities
- Provide electrical / electronic engineering support Submarine Communications systems
- Support the Radio Frequency Digital Control System (RFDACS) and Multifunction Mast (MFM) Antenna Systems on all US Navy Class submarines.
- Support will require frequent travel in support of fleet antenna system modernization and System operability Verification Testing (SOVT) for RFDACS and the Common Submarine Radio Room (CSRR) onboard submarines.
Minimum Requirements
- Work location will be in an office environment at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) on the Philadelphia Navy Yard.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic Engineering
- Navy veteran experience preferable but not necessary
- Must be willing to travel to various waterfronts to work on submarines
- Up to 50% travel may be required
- Ability to work on and climb ladders, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial conditions and in confined spaces
- Must be a US citizen and eligible for a secret clearance
