Logistics Coordinator
NDI Engineering is seeking a qualified logistics and/or maintenance specialist with solid understanding and applicability of the logistics delivery process particularly in support of the US Navy. The candidate will work closely with the US Navy client onsite in Philadelphia at the CTF Test Site.
Candidates will be Responsible for:
- Build schedule for maintenance availability windows while interfacing with engineers to determine priority
- Interface with additional groups including engineering, testing, etc to discuss issues during maintenance window availabilities
- Manage and update maintenance schedule weekly
- Creating and assigning work orders for scheduled maintenance
- Interface with Shop Personnel to provide equipment/material required for maintenance
- Log data on work orders and make note of discrepancies as needed
- Track completed maintenance work orders via hard copies and scanning/organizing on Shared Drive
- Submit completed work orders into schedule and update any stakeholders of schedule impacts; look to improve schedule impacts
- Attend periodic review boards and other meetings as required and provide feedback and provide coordination support as needed
- Make changes and updates to maintenance requirement cards and maintenance index pages
- Provide spot check oversight to ensure procedures are accurate and personnel training is completed
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience gained through service in the US military (E4 or above).
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a logistician supporting supply programs or projects.
- 3M Experience preferred
- US citizenship required; must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance; candidates with current active clearance preferred.
