NDI Engineering Company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design of US Navy test facilities. This position will be based out of our office in Thorofare, NJ.
The ideal candidate will have experience with distributed auxiliary fluid systems design development, manufacturing, and testing. The candidate will also have experience using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) or Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop fluid system diagrams with assistance from Senior Engineer.
- Review system design requirements and establish analyses criteria.
- Develop piping arrangement models and drawings.
- Conduct and document design analyses demonstrating the suitability of designs.
- Review and check engineering drawings of piping systems, machinery installations and support structures.
- Communicate with others on the project team and with the customer’s technical personnel.
- Must be a US citizen and able to qualify for a DoD Secret clearance.
- Must possess a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree and a minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
- Work in the NDI Thorofare office is required.
- Have strong verbal and written communications skills.
- AutoCAD or equivalent experience required; PipeFLO fluid system simulation experience preferred
